ALPreps exists to simply convey the info you want on Friday nights - scores, playoff info and more. ALPreps is best known for projecting the playoff picture through our bracketology across all classifications - who's in, who's on the bubble, who hosts and who travels, and exactly what each team needs to do to move up or hold their spot.

ALPreps is run and managed by Jon Lunceford, a former 2x football state champion at Homewood High School where he currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director. Jon also played collegiately at Birmingham-Southern College before earning his journalism degree from the University of Alabama.

Jon has worked with major media groups across the southeast and country such as Cox Media Group, Cumulus Media, iHeartMedia, AL.com, NFHS Network, and more. He also was a professional gamer and brand ambassador for Samsung Electronics. In addition to managing ALPreps, Jon currently serves as the Executive Director of the Under the Lights Foundation, a non-profit helping to fund high school sports and fine arts programs across the state.
